The Truths of Tomorrow

Autumn whispers in the air.
A cool, crisp breeze blows softly through the branches of a sycamore tree.
It's as quiet as death but the orange foliage breathes life into earths lungs.
Rewriting the past, bringing new beginnings, and opening our minds to harvest the truths of tomorrow.

Sharing this space with you brings me comfort and reassurance unlike anything I've ever known.
The tenderness of your caress reminds me that without you, we all would be nothing.
Your closeness sets a glow upon us and radiates your affection across the earth.
Your warmth,
Your light,
Your salvation.

Buzzing beats around my head
The voices never seem to end
I try to sneak past insidious thoughts
But only end up getting caught
I run and run until the end
But soon there's nowhere left
I don't know how I got here now
But soon enough I'm in the air
I try to scream for help
                         h
                     e
                 l
            p
I've fallen down a rabbit hole.
